On Sunday September 8, the sixth edition of the Da Vinci Project was kicked off at Hof van Cartesius. The students got introduced to the programme by the mentors (Mariangela Biggiero, Roy Maas, Jan den Hollander), the course coordinator (Hannie van Berlo-van den Broek) and one of the founding fathers of the course (Bert Weckhuysen).
After patiently listening to the information, the students went outside to play some introduction games, where they got to know each others’ names, backgrounds, and their reasons for joining the programme.
The last part of the kick-off party was the division of the challenges. In a game of chance, each team was matched with a stakeholder by the throw of a die. Check out the video below to get a feel for how it went.
All in all, the kick-off party was a success. Students got to know their groups in an engaging way, and were more than ready to start the Da Vinci Project the day after.
