On 21 November 2024, we had our very own Dragons’ Den! Ooooh, spooky, scary, right? But also super exciting! This was our chance to show off the updates we’ve made since our pitch. Anna, Antonis and Filip were in charge of organizing the event, and they absolutely nailed it! I would’ve shared a photo of the dynamic trio, but they were the photographers too! 😅
A great idea from our amazing organizers was the feedback boxes. While the Dragons were busy giving their insights, students could write down feedback so nothing got lost in the conversation. Super helpful!
We kicked things off by gathering in a circle with the Dragons (the stakeholders), and as always, we did a check-in to see how everyone is feeling.
Due to time constraints, we had to split into two groups for the presentations:
- Group 1: Hogeschool Utrecht, Denkyem, and ASML
- Group 2: Ketjen, DuurzaamUtrecht, and Green Office
Unfortunately, this meant that we only got to see half of each other’s projects, but don’t worry – we’ve got pictures from both groups so you can still get a glimpse of how it went down! 📸
We wrapped up the event by giving a small gift to our Dragons and finished the Dragon’s Den with our usual check-out circle: popcorn style. People could just pop, pop, pop what they thought, and sparked interesting conversations!
Can’t wait to see what the groups will do with their feedback. But we’ll have to wait till the Prototype Party to see the outcome!
Below are some of the early prototypes:
