The challenge we were given by our stakeholder Ketjen, was motivating the company employees to participate more in sustainability initiatives. To tackle this challenge we began by visiting the company and interviewing the employees. After that we came up with some ideas and made a rough prototype which included an investment opportunity idea for the employees coupled with informative workshops. We then tested our ideas using a survey and realized we had to make a few modifications. After modifying our ideas we came up with the final prototype which entailed detailed plans for workshops to be done for the employees to join about different sustainability pillars, a dashboard to be created in the company listing quantifiable measures of energy efficiency in the company plant such as electricity consumption, and finally an idea for sustainability bonuses.
