On January 22, 2026, we celebrated the successful conclusion of this year’s DaVinci Sustainability Project with an inspiring Prototype Party, bringing together students, stakeholders, and program organizers.
Interdisciplinary student teams from different study programs presented their innovative prototypes, developed in response to real-world sustainability challenges provided by our valued stakeholders: Rabobank, Ketjen, ASML, and All One. Representatives from all partner organizations were present to engage directly with the teams and experience the outcomes of this unique collaboration.
The evening began with prototype presentations from all student groups, followed by thoughtful questions and interactive discussions with the audience. This created a dynamic exchange of ideas between students, industry partners, and the university community. After the presentations, everyone came together for a shared dinner, providing a great opportunity to continue conversations, network, and reflect on the projects in a more informal setting.
The program then continued with the official certificate ceremony, where certificates were presented by our program leader, Prof. Bert Weckhuysen, in recognition of the students’ dedication, creativity, and hard work throughout the project. The night concluded with a group photo session, capturing the energy, collaboration, and sense of achievement that defined this year’s edition. It was truly a fantastic way to wrap up an impactful year of interdisciplinary learning, industry collaboration, and sustainability-driven innovation.
